As the growth lead, he is best known for growing the community and economy of Axie Infinity, Sky Mavis’ flagship product and a pioneer of the blockchain gaming industry. With beautiful and amazing artwork, as well as a polished PvP game, Axie has shown clear leadership in the market. To put their impact in a numerical perspective, Axie has generated ~4 billion U.S dollars in sales volume and over 3.5 million Daily Active Users. Jiho’s team is leveraging this huge success to solidify Sky Mavis’ position as the market leader by developing and operating the Ronin Network, an EVM based blockchain crafted for developers who want to build games with player-owned economies.

Jiho’s experience building Axie and growing the blockchain gaming industry will be immensely valuable to us. One of the main features Sportium will be launching is a sports NFT game, so our team is very much looking forward to the insights and expertise on the operation of massively multiplayer online game Jiho and his team are able to share with us.

Neil Cunha-Gomes

Neil is an investment professional at the US$100B+ SoftBank Vision Funds. He offers investment and operational expertise, a global network and support required to help exceptional founders build market-leading companies. Neil has been an active investor/advisor in the blockchain/crypto space, both personally and professionally.

Among his investments to date, Neil led SoftBank’s investment in Elliptic, a crypto analytics market leader that helps businesses make the crypto economy a safe place to transact. We’re very much looking forward to leveraging the vast network that Neil will contribute toward Sportium’s future business development endeavors.

Santiago is a seasoned industry expert with considerable stature in the DeFi world who’s been investing in crypto since 2012. Most recently, he was responsible for sourcing deals and supporting portfolio companies as a partner at ParaFi Capital, where he led investments in DeFi projects like Aave and The Graph. He is also a member of PleasrDAO, an organization that has invested millions in meme-based art projects. @santiagoroel currently has 90K followers and Santiago continues to communicate with his community on his philosophy towards and theories on the future of cryptocurrency and blockchain.

Santiago is not only a veteran crypto/blockchain investor with an impressive track record and network but also a prominent thought leader who actively communicates his independent philosophy to the entire community. Spencer Farrar(gm_wagmi)

Spencer previously ran crypto investing for a US$4 billion asset manager. He’s made early investments in a number of protocols and companies like Ethereum, Binance, Polygon, Terra, Cosmos, and Solana. He’s currently the Chief Strategy Officer for PsyOptions, which recently completed the first ever intra-Solana acquisition. PsyOptions was also the most oversubscribed IEO in FTX history. Spencer has always been a proponent of open-source technology. He first discovered crypto while attending UC Berkeley and believes that technology and financial institutions will either rebuild themselves around decentralized infrastructure, or they will be replaced by fully decentralized alternatives.

Spencer has been actively involved with the Sportium team since early days. He’s excited to continue to leverage his network and current protocol development to help Sportium on it’s journey in redefining sports in the metaverse.
